OBTEGO P-4 causes silicization of concrete surfaces and floor coverings. The product is used for a final silicatization of cementitious surfaces. Water absorption is reduced, so the surface remains open to diffusion. The surfaces show the following properties after treatment with OBTEGO P-4: Higher resistance to abrasion, dust-free, more waterproof and therefore more stable, no or only slight deepening of the color tone.
